We are suppliers of diagnostic imaging equipment (X-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT), surgical solutions (operating tables and lights, anesthesia equipment, electrosurgical equipment) and patient care (patient monitors, ventilators, medical pumps) as well as endoscopy (rigid and flexible endoscopes).
We are currently looking for a motivated individual as Head of Logistics and Procurement (m/f/d) who will drive our logistics and procurement processes forward with passion and commitment.
Your tasks
- As Head of Logistics and Procurement, you will ensure that your team works with passion and efficiency
- You will take on the exciting responsibility for handling and controlling goods transportation and warehousing services to ensure a smooth process
- With your eye for detail, you carry out inventory control and ensure that our warehouses are always optimally stocked
- Planning deliveries is in your hands and you help to ensure that our customers are supplied on time and reliably
- You create meaningful comparisons of offers to help us make the best decisions for our company
- You carefully document logistics processes, evaluate information and process it in order to achieve continuous improvements
- You contribute your expertise to the planning and handling of national and international transportation and ensure efficient processes
- You monitor delivery dates, check freight documents and freight invoices and check customer orders to ensure the highest quality
- You take on the important responsibility of creating the outgoing invoices in Navision after the goods have been delivered
- In communication and contract negotiations with external logistics service providers and freight forwarders, you will demonstrate your negotiating skills and build strong partnerships
- You will work across departments with Sales and Accounting to achieve our goals together
- You will also be responsible for purchasing and handling business supplies and office materials to ensure that our team is always well equipped
- You will communicate with customs and handle customs declarations for import and export as well as the preparation of customs documents to ensure smooth international shipping
- You are responsible for monitoring the waste containers and coordinating their emptying with external companies
- You look after the pool vehicles, including managing keys and logbooks
- As a key keeper, you ensure the safekeeping of the building keys in the key box in the Logistics office
Your profile
- With a degree in logistics/purchasing or further training and at least 2 years of professional experience, you have the necessary specialist knowledge and practical experience
- With at least 2 years of management experience, you bring valuable knowledge and skills to inspire and lead our team and achieve success together
- You are confident in using MS Office applications and if you also have experience in using Navision, you are ideally equipped to optimally support and further develop our processes
- Are you reliable, meticulous and accurate? Then you are exactly the person we are looking for – your precise way of working is the key to our joint success
- A forklift license would be an advantage and opens up additional opportunities for you to actively participate in our team and make the logistical processes even more efficient!
- Your excellent written and spoken German and English skills will enrich our team
